She was happy and she was beautiful and she didn’t need makeup and she smiled easily, and she blushed easier, and she was brilliant and she was inquisitive and she was driven but she would have sacrificed a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for me and she laughed at me and she laughed at herself and she was silly but not too silly and she knew when to be serious but knew how to make me stop being serious and she was the most caring person I knew and she acknowledged her shortcomings and tried to fix them and she cooked and she ate and she found joy in everything and she could outrun me and she loved her family and she loved her dog and she loved her work and she loved helping people and she cried without shame and she danced all the time and she radiated happiness and she made me happier and she put up with me and she forgave me and she loved me and she was the perfect girl that only exists in movies except movies have happy endings.

I can be that person. I just need to: get a dog, learn to cook, and run more.
